The customers, a family with three children, invited the architects of the bureau to arrange an apartment in the center of Moscow. Initially, it was supposed to be a strict classical style with light American or French accents.

The first thing the architects encountered when creating a common space was a non-standard initial zoning of the territory. Two adjacent apartments were purchased on the same landing, separated by an elevator hall. Therefore, the differentiation took place on the principle of left-to-right. One zone is given to children, in the second a family gathering place and an adult territory are planned.

In the formation of the style, the starting point was the approach of European designers combining modern forms and classic interiors. The architects emphasized the classic style with traditional techniques: paneled panels made of natural wood created by Russian cabinetmakers on the walls, decorative ones on the windows, French herringbone parquet on the floor.

At the same time, the authors used furniture of modern design from Giorgetti, Poltrona Frau, Siematic, and the company Ebony & Co provided a unique technical solution - a particularly stable engineering board.

Specially for the project, a dining table made of green onyx with lighting has been created, which has become a bright dominant of the interior of the dwelling. The chandelier from Philippe Starck in the Baroque style, complementing the dining area, demonstrated the possibility, with a competent approach, to create an eclectic combination of the incongruous.
