The Competition of Architectural Projects for the New School for 600 Pupils Has Ended in Ryazan. The LABVA PRO Design Won Bronze
On September 15, 2022, took place the discussion of the architectural projects for a new school for 600 pupils, which is planned to be built on the Svobodi str., and the improvement of the adjacent territory of Lybedsky Boulevard. The competition for the best architectural and urban planning solution was announced in May and was held in two stages from May 27 to September 12, 2022 with the support of the Government of the Ryazan Region together with the Ryazan organization "Union of Architects of Russia." Such an open competition is held in Ryazan for the first time.
The competition was attended by architects and architectural studios from different cities, including Ryazan. Participants presented their vision of the future school, taking into account urban planning conditions in the proposed construction site: complex relief, historical, cultural and landscape restrictions of the territory, regulatory requirements for buildings of school educational institutions. According to the results of the first stage, 14 projects were selected, which reached the second round.
As a result, three winning projects were selected among them. The LABVA design took third price.
