Six 23-story residential buildings are being built to the east of the Iskra stadium, which in Soviet times, since 1927, was called Bolshevik, Burevestnik, and Trud, and to the west of the industrial zone of the former Worsted Factory, which everyone wants to develop (see the Studio 44 project), but never gets built up. The Trud/Iskra stadium was actually a sports facility addition to the factory. Now, in its reconstructed form, it will be an addition to the Soyuz residential complex.

The stadium has three pitches, and they will reconstruct it without completely stopping operations. They plan to build a new sports complex and, in total, 20 sports. However, apparently, one ribbed sports complex project was replaced in the process by another, ornamental one, from the 1.618 bureau. This one, calmer.

The residential buildings themselves are 5 tower buildings, or, if you like, city villas; the sixth building is planned to house restaurants and offices. In the renderings, they all look either golden or golden-wooden — according to the project, “imitation of wood structure” was planned. But in reality, as far as can be judged by the clad part, they “hit” the shade of “medium cadmium yellow” — there was such a jar in Soviet gouache sets. What we see is very, very bright. Which corresponds to the character of the author of the concept, Stanislav Kulish, who has been delighting us all lately with original, if not daring, projects.

But the balconies are especially striking: what do you think they look like?

The balconies alternate — yellow with railings made of bent glass, some look to the right, others to the left... But this is in the buildings on the side of the Botanichesky Sad metro station and Selskokhozyaistvennaya Street; and the houses in the middle, on the contrary, have facades made of concave waves.

The authors emphasize that they did the entire concept, with the landing and volumetric construction; and not just the facades.
