The relevance and importance of designing public facilities in the Moscow Region are determined by changes in the socio-economic life of the region and increasing demands on the quality of the urban environment. In the context of the active development of the Moscow Region, the creation of a comfortable and functionally rich infrastructure that meets modern living standards is of particular importance.

The purpose of this study is a comprehensive analysis of the transformation of approaches to the design of public facilities in the Moscow Region, identifying key development trends and assessing the effectiveness of the implemented urban planning solutions. Particular attention is paid to studying the experience of redevelopment of industrial areas and the development of multifunctional facilities as the most important areas of modern urban development.
